no comments

Since paintball has exploded into the ultra popular weekend activity many know it to be today, so has the gear used for it. There is gear for every level of paintball player, from the once a month player, to the avid weekender. Lets not forget all of the gear available for the different types of paintball. Woodsball and speedball players have never had so many markers, barrels, masks, tanks, clothing, and even paintball gun stocks to choose from.

We should be thankful that paintball companies care to deliver this wide range of stocks. However, if so many options to choose from, picking the right stock for you can be hard.

To help you on your quest for finding the right stock, here are 3 important questions you should ask yourself before you start looking. Its important you know the answers to these questions so you don’t fall victim to impulse buying, which may lead you to get gear you’ll never ever use.

1. Do you plan on using a remote? A lot of woods players use coiled remotes to distribute some of the weight off of their marker. If you plan on using a remote then finding a stock will be much easier, as there is a wider range of gas-through stocks available then non-gas-through.

2. What kind of paintball gun do you use? Depending on the brand of paintball marker you use, the number of aftermarket stocks could be higher. Tippmann markers tend to have the widest range of stocks available compared to any other marker. While you can find stocks for markers such as the Angel, it is fairly difficult to find one for most brands of speedball style markers.

3. What style of stock do you want? There’s foldable, collapsible, and t-stock style stocks out there. With all of those to choose from it would help if you could narrow it down via your own preference. So pick what type of stock you need and start looking. If you have a marker that has a lot of stocks available, then determining what style you want is a great way to weed through what’s available.

For the paintballer that is in need of a better method to organizing their paintball gear, then look no further than a paintball gear bag. Most gear bags available today have more than enough storage and padding for your paintball gear, giving you an effective way to transport and organize your gear.

During earlier years of paintball’s life, paintball gear bags were few and far between. The selection was pretty horrendous. Nowadays however, just about every paintball company has a gear bag for sale. Even companies that just specialize in offering barrels, such as SLY. Its simply amazing at how fast the sport has grown, and even more amazing at how much of a selection players nowadays have.

It can be hard to find a bag now since there are so many to choose from. Of the many choices, you can break them down by price, style, and size. It’s almost overwhelming at how many choices paintballers have nowadays. Some players will resort to looking for the cheapest bag over the highest rated. Which is the better option?

You thought right! Getting a bag just because it is cheap is one of the worst things you can do. For one thing you get exactly what you paid for. A $10 bag will have under $10 bucks worth of material. You can’t expect something with so little material to last that long. It just won’t happen.

A better method for finding a gear bag is to look at previous buyers reviews. A good number of reviews will give you a clear picture of what the bag is like beyond the images you see online. Furthermore, a good review done by someone who has had the bag for a while will give you a great glimpse as to how durable it is. The key to reviews is, the more positive reviews, the better.

Save your money and go with the best! A cheap gear bag will just cause you trouble later on, and once it rips you’ll just have to buy another one.

Want your cheap paint ball gear to be safe and sound in a great bag? Try these 3 tips that are sure to help you find the best one for you – cheap paint ball bags.

Paintball Remote Coils – What You Need For Your Gun?

The paintball remote coil, also known as a remote line, is a small tube that runs between the CO2 connector the paintball gun and the CO2 tank. Other than making your paintball gun look cooler, they also have several practical purposes.

The most important reason that paintball players use these coils is to decrease the weight of their guns. By using them, the CO2 tank can be mounted somewhere else, typically on the back or on a belt, significantly reducing the weight of the paintball gun. Furthermore, using a coil can allow the player to utilize much larger tanks.

Also by reducing the weight on the gun, you could spare your gun from unnecessary wear. The weight of the CO2 tank and the angles in which they are installed can lead to stripping of the threads in the CO2 connector over time. With the coil, you will not have to be concerned with this any longer.

If you decide to purchase a coil, there are two things you will need to consider. Most importantly, you will need to make sure that the coil fits the CO2 connectors of your paintball gun and your tank. If you are unsure, you can refer to the manual of your paintball gun.

The other thing you want to consider is the length of the coil. You do not want to get something that is too short because it will not reach or it will make firing difficult. On the other hand, you do not want one that is too long, either. A coil that is too long could easily get tangled in bushes and branches or other obstacles. You will have to measure your setup and get the right size for you.

One way to avoid unnecessary entanglements is to cut a small hole in the sleeve of your paintball shirt and run the line along your arm, up your shirt, into the tank that is also under you shirt. This guarantees that the line will not get tangled during the most intense paintball firefights.

When it comes to cheap gear, nothing beats the paintball remote coil. Just keep some of these pointers in mind and you will have a priceless addition to your paintball equipment.
